The present article presents a historical perspective of the musical education in schools of regular formal education in Brazil.Three moments are studied: the musical practices of the jesuitic education in the colonial period, the orpheonic singing in the Vargas Era and the music as one of the languages in iphone 14 price miami the discipline of Artistic Education.In this perspective, it is desired to analyze the favourable and unfavourable moments to the musical education in the political context of Brazilian education.
